AfroQueen Consulting

here I am
A career Human Resources practitioner for the past 20 + years, Marie- Daphné led an Anti-Racism Task Force as a Director at Public Service and Procurement Canada from 2020 to 2021. During this journey, her biggest success has been connecting employees with the concept of diversity and inclusion, by initiating a deep and uncomfortable conversation in the midst of social unrest stemming from George Floyd's murder and Joyce Echaquan's tragic death in 2020.
A proud Canadian of Afro-Caribbean descent, she is the mother of two teenage daughters. She hopes her contributions will help build a more inclusive and welcoming Canadian society where her daughters and every citizen can fit in, for generations to come!
